Quiet Building Components (QBC) is the patent holder for an exciting new steel 2X4 design. The QBC 2X4 (wall stud), is an Isolastic steel composite. It is a combination of two formed metal pieces, bound together with a special rubber-like coating. This unique design allows a QBC wall system to flex under heavy stress without failing and diminishes sound and heat transmission.
